Spring forward! Set your clocks tonight!

dayst Spring forward! Set your clocks tonight!

Happy Daylight Savings Time! It’s that time of year again where many of us set our clock’s an hour forward, losing a precious hour of much needed sleep. I’m talking about Daylight Savings Time. And it is already here!

Don’t forget to set your clock’s ahead an hour when you go to bed tonight (Saturday) so you’ll be all set when the time changes at 2:00 A.M. Sunday morning.

And don’t worry too much about losing an hour of sleep because not only can you “nap” on Sunday, but I have a post coming up on Monday all about it with a prize!

Speaking of babys first tooth. Baby Orajel Baby’s First Tooth Photo Sweepstakes!

Remember the other day when I shared the first tooth of this cutie?
kdy2 150x131 Speaking of babys first tooth. Baby Orajel Baby’s First Tooth Photo Sweepstakes!

Well, I just learned that Baby Orajel®  is hosting a Baby’s First Tooth Photo Sweepstakes! I’m not going to enter, because I can’t get my little princess to pose for me :D   but I wanted to share it with you because this is a great contest.

Go to www.babyorajel.com between March 9, 2010 and March 31, 2010 to enter for a chance to win. From the submissions, ten photos will be chosen at random as finalists.
Then, the public will have the opportunity to encourage friends to participate by voting for and choosing the winner. The selected first place winner will bring home a $1,000 Grand Prize, while the second and third place winners will each win $500. (Your baby must have four teeth or fewer at the time the photograph is taken. Limit one photo per contestant, please.)

Did you know that most babies begin teething in March? Say what? It’s true!
See:

Traditionally, more babies begin teething in March than any other time of year. According to U.S. birth records, the greatest number of births each year normally occurs from July through September. And this means many babies, who on average begin teething at seven months, are well on their way to toothy smiles by March. That’s why the maker of Baby Orajel® has named March National Teething Month.

So head on over to www.babyorajel.com and enter your little teethling into this awesome contest. Best of luck to ya!

Baby bites.

kdy2 300x262 Baby bites.

This little muffin finally has her first tooth! Of course, she wouldn’t pose for a tooth shot so we had to just go with her snow hat pic. Cute, if I do say so myself!

She is nearly 9 months old and I was beginning to wonder if there were any teeth in there! :D My oldest child was 10 months old when he cut his first tooth but you could see they were there. And the other girls cut their teeth fairly early. Like 5 months-ish.

Baby Ducky, on the other hand, didn’t really look like any were coming in, so we were really beginning to wonder. Although she cried and chewed and drooled, and all that miserable good stuff for months and months, we couldn’t feel or see anything until this past weekend. Family came over to cook-out and play cards and she cried the entire day/night. So I figured it was just a matter of days. Thank God for Baby Orajel, cold wash cloth’s and the like!

She really did a great job. Even though fussy, I have seen much worse. I’m so proud of her. It’s funny how one little tooth can cause so much pride in parent’s. hehehe

WOO HOO HOO!!!! I just had to share!

p.s. She is a breastfed baby. Oh. My. Good. Lord. Enough said.

Thanks for reading!
