In part 2 of our review series on Hairbows, Clips and Bands, we are reviewing hairbows and holders by Jennifer of Minklers Minkies. Miss Jennifer responded to my request on the MomPack mommy group for hair accessories for the upcoming birthdays of two of my daughter’s. (as noted in the previous post) She didn’t have a site yet but did send me a photo of bows in red and a couple of her cute wooden hair clip holders. I knew I wanted pink and brown for the bows, but I admit, I was in such a time crunch… mind going in a million different directions, that I just could not come up with anything for the holders. And I needed THREE of them! (couldn’t leave my baby girl out!) So my instructions were basically, the girls names and then “girlie colors”. Doesn’t that just seem so bad of me, making her choose the colors and design? I couldn’t help it. I unwittingly put her to the test and she passed with flying colors! (no pun intended)
I received 3 sets of darling hairbows. Two brown with pink trim and one pink with brown trim. And 3 wooden holders with each of my daughters names on them, ready to hang on the wall and start adorning with their beautiful hair accessories. She graciously agreed to a third set for the baby, who’s birthday it was not. THAT was very nice!
They arrived within days and in plenty of time for the party. (Remember, these ladies were only given, like, 2 weeks notice???) They were EXTREMELY well packaged for shipping. Each holder was neatly wrapped in tissue paper and the bows were tucked inside a nice little manila envelope and placed inside the mailing box. Did I mention it was Priority? FABULOUS! The hairbows are wonderful. They are attached to fabric covered alligator-clips, allowing them to go in my daughter’s hair easily without pulling. And they look so pretty in their hair! The wooden accessory holders are a really nice size, each with 3 pieces of ribbon hanging on the bottom to attach all their beautiful hair clips. Each one has a name and cute decorations painted on it and the ribbons have darling little bows on the bottom TOO CUTE!
(photo time – remember, I’m no photographer so the pics are a bit pixelated
)
Thank you SO much Miss Jennifer. This was another GREAT bartering experience.
