I recently had the wonderful opportunity to review a couple of products from Vistaprint. I was able to create Holiday photo cards and a beautiful photobook. I created my products online with their digital editor, placed my order and it arrived within a week. The photobook arrived separately just a few days after the cards.

Since my family already had photo cards for this year, I decided to choose from the pre-designed selection and create cards for those that we don’t send family photos but still send out a Christmas card to. We chose the Birds theme which is just too, too cute with little blue birds beneath the mistletoe, stars and a wooden sign. I deleted the existing text and placed our name on the sign, then added the date to the bottom right. The editor was very easy to use and the selection of card designs was great. It was difficult to choose one design because they were all very pretty! But I felt this design would work to combine Christmas with our New Year greeting on the back. You have the option of a colored back but I thought the black and white suited the card better. They are a beautiful double sided card printed on a heavy stock photo paper and even included matching envelopes! Aren’t they darling?

For the photo book, I knew immediately what I wanted to make! My mom passed away in 2003 and out of my four children, only my son has any memories of her. So I wanted to created a book all about her as a keepsake to hand down to my children. I wanted something that would help me show my girls how much they are like her. It turned out so beautifully! The pictures were very easy to upload. I had a little trouble adding the captions because the box is a tad small for my pitiful eyesight but it was still very easy to use and there were a lot of clipart images that I was able to add to enhance me pages. I had a great time working on this photo book and I think my mom would be very proud to see it! I am very happy to have been able to create something I’ll cherish forever and use as a tool to help teach my children more about their grandmother.
