I have wanted to try Country Bob’s All Purpose Sauce for a very long time. But for some reason, it never seemed to make it into my shopping cart. SO when the opportunity to review and giveaway this great sauce in the plastic bottle arose, I jumped at the chance!
To me, it is a combination of a bar-b-que and steak sauce with more emphasis on the bar-b-que. I thought it tasted like that bar-b-que sauce you get at McDon***’s for the nuggets. You know the sauce I’m referring to? Hubby didn’t think it did. He thought it tasted like Hun*’s steak sauce. Either way, it was GOOD! It is rich and tangy with just the right amount of boldness to compliment your food without overpowering the flavor of the meat.
We tried it on porkchops baked in the oven with the sauce baked on. YUMMY! Then we tried it with steak as a steak-sauce. It was equally as yummy. Next, we will be preparing BBQ’d pork ribs and chicken and using the Country Bob’s All Purpose Sauce. OOH and I think the next time I make those Lil Smokies party favorites, I will use the Country Bob’s All Purpose Sauce for those as well. I just know they will be fantastic! Not sure what you want to fix with it? You can find great recipes directly on their website including appetizers, soups & stews, dressings, beef, pork, poultry, seafood and more PLUS you can submit your own recipe!
Along with the All Purpose Sauce, Country Bob’s has expanded their line to include BBQ Sauce, Seasoning Salt and Spicy All Purpose Sauce. I want to try the spicy! You can use their handy dandy location finder to find a store near you OR you can order directly online and have it shipped to your home. Talk about convenient! They also have a private labeling program for anyone who may be interested. The link can be found directly on their website.
Country Bob’s owners do not take credit for their success and I have to say, the most wonderful quote is printed on their website. Never have I heard a business give this kind of credit before and it made even more of a believer out of me! I LOVE this sauce and the company behind it!
It would be nice if we could claim responsibility for the success of the company, however, credit must be given where credit is due. Proverbs 16:3 says, “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.” We have placed true ownership of Country Bob, Inc. in the hands of God. “Christ is our CEO” and He is an Awesome Boss!
How amazing is that!?!
