Do you remember Rainbow Brite? I sure do! I loved her colorful world and the ponies and Sprites. I even had a pillow doll that my grandmother made for me. You know, the fabric you can buy and cut out to sew? I loved that doll.

Rainbow Brite has made a triumphant return and is sure to leave a wonderful mark in the hearts of our daughters. I love it when classics from my childhood return for my own children.

My friend Kay Green of My Precious Kid has generously donated a copy of  Potty Training in One Day: A Guide for Today’s Parents by Narmin Parpia.

This 100 page guide begins with preparation to help determine if your child is ready to begin potty training and recommended supplies like Potty Scotty™ and Potty Patty™ training dolls. It then covers follow-up and maintenance like teaching your child that you expect them to use the potty every time. The book “Potty Time” by USBORNE is filled with cute illustrations and descriptive pages like baby in a soggy diaper and a doggy with a clothes pin on his nose to tell the baby he’s stinky. It’s cute and fun and will help show your child that being a smelly mess is no fun! I am a HUGE fan of USBORNE books. They offer awesome educational tools for parents.
